Our team is back this week with our 9th video in this series. In this episode In this episode, following the heavy events that occurred during the past two weeks in response to the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, and recognizing that recognizing that the field of infant and early childhood mental health was built to address inequities for our youngest parents, families and children – we are choosing to pause our content and use this platform to elevate black-led accounts dedicated to the same issues that drive us all: supporting the health and development of our youngest and their families. Our plan is to feature each of these, and many more, through our feed to elevate their reach into the network we have built here – and for all of us to hear and learn from their perspective.
Additionally, Sesame Street and CNN are partnering THIS Saturday, June 6th at 10 AM for a 60 minute special town hall for kids and families called “Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism.” You can access it on CNN, CNN en Espanol and on CNN.com
